Question:
Asalaamu alaykum Mufti Saheb
A young man has died in the community. He himself was a Sunni and the parents were Qadianis. The Parents performed the Janaza in a Qadyani centre and they buried him today. Is it possible to lead a janaza Prayer on his qabar because the deceased had no janaza at all?
Answer :
Respected brother, the response to your query is as follows:
The salaah of janaazah cannot be performed twice. However due to the fact that the Qadianis are not Muslims, the first janaazah will not be considered. The janaazah salaah will have to be performed at the graveside as long as the body has not burst (gone through decay).
AND ALLĀH TA’ALA ALONE IN HIS INFINITE KNOWLEDGE KNOWS BEST.
