About

An institute of Islamic learning by the sea

Darul Uloom Miftahul Falaah was founded in 1997 by Hadhrat Mufti Yacoob Vally Sahib. It began with a small Hifdh class and developed into an established Islamic educational institution based in Oslo Beach, Port Shepstone.

Memorisation of the Noble Qur'aan on a part-time basis.

Full-Time Hifdhul Qur'aan

Full-time memorisation of the Noble Qur'aan under supervision.

Aalim Faadhil

Classical Islamic scholarship covering Qur'aan, Hadith, Fiqh and the Arabic sciences.

Qira'at Saba'a

Study of the seven canonical recitations of the Noble Qur'aan.

Iftaa

Advanced specialisation in Islamic legal verdicts through the Darul Iftaa.

Fataawa

The Darul Iftaa provides Islamic guidance and publishes Fataawa for the benefit of the Muslim community.
