The Darul Uloom is registered with ATII (Association of Traditional Islamic Institutes), which is an umbrella body of all Deeni Madaaris in South Africa. ATII is registered as a legal educational institution in South Africa. Hence, all foreign students are able to obtain valid study visas in the name of Darul Uloom Miftahul Falaah for the duration of the respective course. Foreign students are urged to contact the Darul Uloom at least 6 months prior to the beginning of the academic year to streamline the visa process. In addition, non-English-speaking students are requested to join the Darul Uloom four months before the start of the academic year so that they may learn English, which is the medium of instruction at the Darul Uloom.
