A woman has a 1oz silver coin and a 0.1g gold carat bar, Is Zakaah waajib on these items?
If yes, She did not know that Zakaah has to be paid on it, and was in debt in all the years that she possessed it, is the Zakaah still waajib on it and how will she calculate it if she had it for 5 years?Jazakallah

الجواب حامدا و مصليا
The weight and monetary value of said precious metals do not reach the minimum requirement to make Zakat wajib.
The Nisab of gold is 87.48 grams and silver is 612.36 grams. Zakat will not be waajib for the previous years.
