Assalaamualaikum respected mufti
Trust that you are well.
Is it permissible for a lady to tie her tubes in order to prevent her from falling pregnant in the future?
Generally doctors always state risks… However, 1 expert gynecologist has said its safe to have as many pregnancies even via caesarian section.
The only excuse she has is that her stomach muscles have split(weakened) and it’s more weighty when carrying the foetus.
Is this excuse even valid?

If there is no strength to carry the baby, there is fear of loss of life and there is no solution except to carry out the operation based on the consultation of a pious Muslim doctor, it will be permissible to do the operation of ligation. However, this should be the last resort.
