A landlord will like to know if the rental income earned from a liquor store or butchery selling pork is halaal?
Answer
If the tenant is a non Muslim, then the rental income received will be Halaal according to Imaam Abu Hanifa R.A, however if the tenant is a Muslim who sells liquor and pork then the rental income received will be Haraam.
